Bad Points

They lack any customer service. They arbitrarily make decisions about your account. They lack any human interaction.


General Comments

I had a Fleet card for years, and was always taken care of. Providian Emerge came in and bought Fleet, and jacked up my interest rate without notification, and they basically told me I could take it or leave it. They have no customer service at all, and could not care less about your business. I paid them the money they wanted, and they still cut me off, even when I had done exactly what I was supposed to have done. I'd like to have discussed this with a customer service person, but you can't get one.
