General Comments
My first trip to Poland on LOT Polish Airlines will undoubtedly be my last!
After a connecting flight (on a different airline) to JFK, the 10:00pm flight to Krakow was "delayed" until 7AM next morning. But no one waiting in line for 1+ hours was told this until they actually arrived at the ticketing counter to check their bags. (No announcement was made to the 50+ people in line). LOT put us up in area hotels, but was extremely disorganized during the process.
On the return trip to the USA, the flight from Warsaw to Chicago was delayed by 3 hours, again, no explanation, causing the majority of pax to miss connecting flights. Once again, very chaotic, and after 2 hours in the airport, we were taken to a local hotel.
1 hot meal and 1 "snack" served for an 11 hr. flight, no beverages offered between meals.
