Yamaha YHR668N Review

Good Points
The "newly improved" YHR668N has some good points to it. Among them are a lovely F side. It is warm, very responsive, and intonation between octaves is outstanding.

Bad Points
I must say, overall I am disappointed with this horn. I had an older version of the same horn which I believe was better.

General Comments
There are many aspects of the Yamaha YHR668N horn which I love. The warm, rich sound, wonderful F side, responsive low register, and responsive articulations.



However, I cannot recommend this horn because of it's unreliable high register and chronic valve syndrome (which I think is a Yamaha thing).
