It has a few good points like the rails are ok and you can move anything thing you want in it with out anyone caring about it.
It is small and a mess. The council come and take loose bits of wood away because they think we don't need them but we use them to even out the broken ramps. Because it is all wooden except the rails duh!!
Temuka Skatepark is good for about an hour a week but then you just go out around the town looking for spots. They have a box there was originally a ramp but the sides and end got taken off to leave a fibre glass box. The box is good because it is about one and a half decks high so you can ollie and learn kickflips on to it and stuff. There are two rails there thatr are the same but one is two decks high and one is four. So you can learn to boardslide on the small one and use the bigger one when you are good enough. There is a pyramid and half a pyramid plus a ramp that no one uses really except to ghet speed off. Go there if you like but Temuka is meant to be getting a new skatepark soon made of concerete and steps so be there in a year and you will like it better.
