Bad Points
Ants in the rooms, too far to walk from the resort to the ocean. It is too far from town, costs $18.00 by cab to get there. The food was horrible, very dry and tasteless, same thing everyday all day. The resort ran out of beer for a full day. Pillows are very flat and hard, the matress is kept wrapped in plastic so it doesn't stink with must, and tremendously hard!! Water is very mucky so there is no way to snorkle. 2 days of jellyfish in the water so no swimming. In the guide and in the resort book it says non-motorized sports are included but they still try to charge, unless you confront them on why the charge?

General Comments
The rooms at the Riu Jalisco Hotel are very spacious, All the staff are absolutely wonderful and informative. Lots of things to do within the resort. Excellent kids programs and adults. The shows in the theatre were very upbeat. Adult and children's pools are seperate.The best part of our trip is we were there on Mexican Independence Day. Oh boy can they put on a show.
