The best interest rate around, and travel insurance too.
Where do I start. From day 1 with this bank they had made a string of mistakes including: Sending my statement to someone else and his to me, charging me for services I have not had, not clearing cheques in the time they allowed, and telling me in the branch that I could not conduct business there, as I had an internet based account!
I was convinced, like many people that Alliance & Leicester offered a great service, and I switched banks from Lloyds, as A&L offered the best interest rate. Within 6 months I had moved banks again, as the customer service in A&L is poor to non-existent. I will not make that mistake again!
