Good Points
Even key action, and tone.

Bad Points
Sharp tuning in upper octave.

General Comments
I bought the Jupiter diMedici 1011 Flute after four years with a 911, which I still play. Jupiter have made changes in the last few years; the silver plating is better, and the G sharp key is smaller. I have found the silver tube improves the sound greatly. I recently fitted a second-hand Sankyo head-joint to it, and the sound is better still.



Controlling the sharp tuning in the final octave is a problem when I play with a wind band.



If you are upgrading to a flute in this price range, such as the Yamaha 400 series, then try the diMedici 1011.
