Refreshingly simple. An excellent beer to quaff after mowing the lawn.
Not a beer to savor.
Rolling Rock is one of the better mass-market American beers. Although billed as an "Extra Pale Ale," it's really an American Continental-style light lager. While not particularly interesting, Rolling Rock is light and refreshing, with a crisp bitter flavor with little hop aroma or character. An unpretentious, uncomplicated beer, it's perfect served ice cold on a hot summer day after working in the garden.
