Engine cut out totally. New brakes have been faulty and alarm had to be reset.
General Comments
My Renault Scenic is only 11 months old and is in the garage in Lincoln again. Engine cut out totally on overtaking and brakes always have been a sticky problem. Major electronic faults and, they said it was fixed, but we were not happy as "loss of faith" in it, as it nearly killed my whole family, they replaced a CPI or something. I was told that it shouldn't have happened in the first place and the CPI is not the underlying of the problem. Scary is an understatement. It's been in the garage 4 weeks now still in bits. I'm so glad I didn't pick it up last week, as the brakes went faulty again. Still getting the run-around as well. I was told that it was a one off maybe a lemon, but after reading about the others (same engine) I'm not so happy about getting another one now. 1.9 (130) I will set my ratings on our car now how it is.
