General Comments

Cadbury Snowflake Every so often, the self regulating industry that is "chocolate bar design" allows one to slip through the net. Any other manufacturer would simply pass it off as a special edition, quietly remove the product from the displays, and send the inventor off for reconditioning, but not Cadbury's, oh no.

Cadbury's believed they could carry off the launch of a bar with a name more commonly used to describe dandruff. As if this wasn't bad enough, it appears the flaky dead skin was also their inspiration when working on its texture and taste. Now, I agree that white chocolate has it's place in confectionary world, all be it a small one, but everyone feeling the need to experience it just buys a Milky Bar. Don't they?!

In fairness, this chocolate-fireguard of an idea was never going to emerge from the shadow of its big sister, who's provocative ad's of the 70's make it a true legend in the chocolate world. No, I'm afraid like the sequel Highlander II, these designers would do well to remember the adage, "If it 'aint broke, don't try to fix it."

Having Anthea Turner promoting it can't have helped matters much either...
