sharonrocks's review of Firenze, Leicester

★★★★★

“Firenze has frequently changing, imaginative,...”

Written on: 15/09/2005 by sharonrocks (1 review written)

Good Points
To die for food (gorgeous and imaginative) and fantastic, welcoming service. Regularly listed as one of the top 10 Italian restaurants in the UK - with good reason.

Bad Points
Too close to my house for my waisteline and bank balance.

General Comments
Firenze has frequently changing, imaginative, authentic Italian food - antipasti, pasta, mains and desserts. Plus lots of dessert wines and a good, long, Italian wine list (though wines can be a bit on the pricey side). Only a small place with a cosy, though upmarket feel. Very 'Italian' welcome - ie great service but friendly and informal too. Food is fabulous each and every time.
