General Comments

I have owned my Logun MK II in a thumbhole stock since the beginning of summer. I have a Nikko-Sterling 6-24x mil-dot scope on it. I must say it is truly an amazing piece of art work. The stock's finish is extremely smooth with a fairly glossy sheen. It is so nice, that it is hard to want to take it out in the field and risk scratching it. But heck, I won't be on earth forever, so she goes with me almost every where I go. After owning this rifle for only a few weeks, it proved its worth by downing a fox at approximately 45 meters. Since then many of vermin have fallen to this machine. In terms of accuracy, I can shoot off a bench a five shot 1/2" group at fifty yards. With a 50 yard zero, it has about a 5" drop at 80 yards and at that range I can hit my NRA Ram over 90% of the time with a rest. When I first received my MK II there was a streak in the finish on the air tank portion of the rifle. I was pretty upset at the time and sent it back to Straight Shooters. They replaced it with another one and now it looks a 100% better. I can shoot about 30 shots before the accuracy diminishes then I fill it up again with the hand pump. It takes about 100 pumps to get it back to full. So I never let it get too low of air since the accuracy is compromised. I think it is a nice rifle to have around and even though it is pretty expensive, if you shoot a lot, you will get your money's worth out of it.
