Good Points

As a left handed shooter I appreciate the overall design

Bad Points

Inconsistant shots. The first 10-15 shots sounded weak. Over the next few shots the gun went off with a solid CRACK and sounded as if I were shooting a .22 short. Any commonets as to how the gun should shoot consistantly?

At 25 yrds. I am easily getting half inch groups from a standing rest. The tactical scope is a nice touch.

General Comments

Over all I liked the ease of operation of the Crosman Remington Genesis 1000. The adjustable trigger was also nice. I would have like to seen a better trigger assembly for $200. As stated before, I am very dissapointed in the 'consistancy' of the gun itself, but I have no qualms with with the accuracy.

If anybody has any words of wisdom, please pass them along.

   A springer air rifle can take several hundred to a thousand shots before the gun fully settles and stablizes (Break In Period) the longest break in of any airgun. The first hundred or so shots can also be affected by diesling. (oil combusting under pressure in the compression chamber) Also a one piece scope mount can help any scope "creep" shifting from recoil (on springers). Available cheap from Pyramid Air. There should also be some small strip of tape like gaffer tape on the inside of the scope mount rings. (upper and Lower) Thanks for review and post back after your gun breaks in. Chase
