Rugged built. A good deep bluing and smooth finish on barrel and cylinder. Stock has a nice finish. Smooth working action, barrel breaks and pulls easy.
Excessive barrel droop. Overall weight is to heavy. Very hold sensitive. Big ugly plastic trigger that pulls much to hard and effects accuracy. Although stock has nice finish, it leaves some to be desired for looks.
I have the Brazilian made Daisy Winchester 800X. To me this rifle is a very rugged built gun, so if all you want is something to beat the bush with and make a respectable shot within 25 yards and don't mind toten a weighty airgun around the woods then I'd guess this guns for you. It has excessive barrel droop bottomed the 4X32 tasco right out an still shot about an inch low at 20 yards. I've practiced very much on my hold and follow through, still this rifle is hold sensitive, it does take a bit of getting used to that. I've shot traditional longbarrled muzzleload rifles over the course of years so I do know how to shoot a weighty rifle.
