Trying very hard to think of any!
Grubby unclean caravans, torn-faced staff, especially in entertainment area... big example..chip shop, overpriced food.
Had booked for 3 nights at Haven Holidays Haggerston Castle, but couldn't make Friday night due to late working. We arrived on Sat morning and given caravan keys. The caravan was disgraceful. It looked about 10 years old and was dirty, smelly, carpets were all marked, bed mattress would have turned your stomach. Returned keys and was immediately given another caravan.
This one was marginally better. We don't like to complain and kind of got on with it. Saying that, we dumped our stuff and went out for the day. We came back in later in the afternoon and commented on the smell within the caravan thinking that with the doors and windows having been shut if would just be a matter of letting air circulate for a while. Everything felt unclean and we decided not to make anything to eat and just for easiness get something in. The chipshop in the entertainment area was overpriced, stodgy, and serviced up by two miserable, torn-faced lads.
That night we slept on the couch as the bedroom and bed gave us the creeps. We actually couldn't get much sleep, got up at about 4am, packed our bags, put the key in their lettebox and went home. About 2-3 hours away.
I have stayed in many caravan sites around the UK, most are absolutely spotless, but I will never set foot inside one of these parks again. My wife and I are not snobs, this was disgusting and we would not let our dogs live in these conditions.
