Good Points

One of the slickest 6 speeds you'll ever encounter, perfect clutch. Good power in type s


Bad Points

Don't let the fact of the bose name on the stereo fool you. It's a decidedly downmarket stereo (much worse than standard Buick/pontiac quality).


General Comments

Quick in 6 speed. The low quality of the stereo was a real shock. Midrange comes through far too loud and at max bass & treble settings is still the main thing you hear. Intolerable without a sub. I've got a several year old buick regal as well with far better sound quality. SHAME ON BOSE. I didn't really test the stereo before buying but if I had, I would have insisted on $1-2k off to completely replace the sound. I won't buy another vehicle with bose in it (unless, that is, bose does the right thing in this case and provides something to reduce midrange for all '01 and later CL owners at no charge). Otherwise, the CL performs pretty well. With a better stereo I would buy again without hesitation. Acura needs to make woodgrain available in the black interior. Oh yeah.... the stereo by far the worst thing about this car. SHAME ON BOSE!
