With 15,400km gone tyres are good, lights ok, one new roller and belt kit put in machine, new spark plug.
After new roller and belt kit felt like a new machine again. Think the ultraseal in the tyres has helped a lot as well. For a little 50cc scooter it has done a lot of miles and apart from the petrol guage I can not say the scooter has given me any problems. It starts first time every time touch wood.
Bad Points
Have to keep wire brushing and painting exhaust to hold back the rust - gave up trying to get Pinnacle Autocentre in Stirling, Scotland to fix petrol guage under the one year.
General Comments
Good little scooter - the Peugeot Looxor - the front brake is really good, back brake is ok, but could have been better. Lights well the same on all scooters. Holds well on road in the winter weather. I know as I have to drive to work every day on it. Seat could have been a little more comfy but in saying that I have sat on worse. Mileage is good - well for me anyway about 124 miles then I fill it up and it's not empty at that point. So all things considered the Looxor 50cc will do me fine for a while yet.
