Fake Bake Self Tan Cream does go on dark, so do not apply before company arrives. Play with the lotion until you get to know the product and how it goes on. I like to use this product outside while sitting in the sun, it helps dry the lotion. I like to apply this as the foundation for my make-up. Once you get the hang of how it applies to the your skin, then you can apply before going out on the town.
