Flexible software.
I am an experienced accountant in the UK! I used to recommend Quickbooks for small businesses, but I no longer do.
The website support is poor, and you are encouraged to buy a support package. On the UK website I could not find the specific update patch I need today, I couldn't even register to see if this accesses a download area for patches and updates. The feedback button didn't work either.
If you are are sensitive as to what data goes into and out of your computer on the internet, type "qbupdate.exe" into Google and read some of the informed comments about QB Update Agent.
When I rang technical support from a client's office a couple of weeks ago, the support was competent, but came via a fuzzy connection from India, needing great concentration on my part to understand the English accent of the adviser, and he couldn't hear me well either.
A big company product like Intuit Quickbooks may be less suitable for your small business, than a product from a small company which has to try harder to meet your needs.
