Strong, well-built, and classy looks.
Easy to clean.
Makes superb coffee.
Not enough height to get a decent cup or mug underneath. I have had trouble finding a large, shallow cup that will fit.
I read all the reviews before settling on the Morphy Richards 47505 Roma Coffee machine. I only have one cup of coffee a day, so it has to be a really good one. I like latte and cappuccino, so I did my homework and found you need an excellent espresso base for these coffees. I wanted a machine with 15 bar and not too expensive. The average retail price for this machine is £99 - £105, but I found it brand new at electricshopping.com for only £69. The warming plate is something of nothing, as you need the machine to be working for 20 minutes if you want to warm your cup (which is essential). The best way round this is to warm your cup with boiling water before use.
If you wanted several cups of coffee for a dinner party, this is not the machine for you, but for a couple of cups it is magic. I love it and made a perfect cappuccino first time. (You will need to buy a good stainless steel frothing jug - not too large or it won't fit under the spout). Another reason I bought this machine is because I know from past experience, that if your product is faulty, Morphy Richards customer service is second to none.
