Bad Points

Pushy sales team. Poor selection of cars. Cars that shouldn't be allowed on the roads.


General Comments

I bought a Rover 618 from the Coventry branch of Yes Car Credit for my partner to use on the school run. The sales person talked us into this one by saying "that it was a good reliable car for the money". As we have poor credit, we felt that this was the only option open for use, and reluctantly decided to go ahead.
The only time that this car gave us no trouble was the day we got shot of it. The central locking broke after 2 weeks. The electric windows stopped working after 3 days. The car developed a terrible whining noise when driven, and we were unable to tax the vehicle because Yes Car Credit didn't give us the registration documents. The vehicle was eventually taken away on the back of a recovery vehicle, and dumped outside their Coventry "garage", after all attempts to terminate the contract failed.
I am now waiting to go to court as I have refused to pay for a car that was unfit for the road when it was sold to me, even though it had an M.O.T. I am now left with a £6,500 debt.
