Nice treble
Good punch
Not harsh
The bass is not really tight or warm
I've tried several CD players but liked the Cyrus DAD1.5 the most. It has a French sound without the round edges, which some Marantz CD players offer on the drums. Although it is has a fresh sound with very good treble, you're don't get tired of the sound (like with some Denon and Linn players, and it isn't boring (like some Meridian and Marantz players). The bass is not bad, but could be better (like the CD player DAD7 from Cyrus, but this one I found boring for the rest).
