Good Points
Huge storage for the price, doubles as a detachable disk drive, great stability, excellent sound quality, good quality condenser mike, variable bit rate recording, line in option, records direct to MP3 format, hold/lock facility.
Bad Points
Very clunky menus - not at all intuitive, a bit weighty, chargeable battery not replaceable(?)
General Comments
I bought the iMuz C700 MP3 player as much for the voice recording and storage facilities, as for the MP3 player element, and it has not disappointed. I have used it constantly for 2-3 months now, and it has only frozen up once, it is that reliable. The downside is definitely the menu system. The keys change function depending on which menu you are in, and it all gets very confusing. The buttons for moving through song lists seem to have been set back to front, and so you have to concentrate. I was particularly impressed with the recording quality. I produce a regular pod-cast with this unit, and so if you want to hear what it can do, just go to www.cleverlittlepod.com. All shows so far have been recorded with it.
Overall, I'd recommend it.
