Good Points
It's their most brutal album yet. I love the variety on this album. The strongest points on the album are probably The Heretic Anthem, Gently, Metabolic, and My Plague. All the songs are wicked. Those are just the best.

Bad Points
It gets a little repetitive.

General Comments
The Slipknot Iowa album is an interesting listen. It's definitely Slipknot's most brutal album to date. The best thing about this album is the arrangement. It goes from really chaotic to super melodic. The only bad thing is it doesn't do the bands musical ability justice, nor does it do Corey's vocal range justice. Overall it's an excellent album, but if your looking for Slipknot's more melodic material, go to Vol. 3.
