There are no real good points with this machine.
Machine breaks down often, and the fault codes are useless. Poor manufacture and design. Poor cleaning. The container for the soap won't take a tablet unless it is crushed, and the tablet sometimes won't drop out of dispenser.
The Hotpoint DWF50S dishwasher is a big disappointment. Other dishwashers in the past from this company have been fine, but this one fails by a long mark. Ours has had 3 faults in 18 months. Heater, pump, and now an unknown one. The machine will not always clean the top draw, and the below plates are dirty if on the far left back corner. The soap dispenser will not work correctly, it's too small for most tables, and even if one can be used, it's unlikely to drop into the water, usually getting damp while the rinse is on, and then swelling so it won't drop.
