Cars over priced, pushy sales technique, abominable after sales service, kept waiting for hours
My husband and I bought a Ford Focus from Carcraft. The model they sold us was not the model on the logbook but an inferior model worth less, they agreed to the return of the car only because they had broke the sales of goods act. They had already sold our trade in so agreed to give us the trade in price for our old car which we refused as it was worth more than that, they did give us more after several phone calls, they also said that they would pay off the finance as we had returned the car, five months on and the finance has only just been paid but they have left a deficit of £800. It has taken my husband about fifty phone calls to get them to chase up the settlement of the finance and each time they promised someone would ring back but they didn't all of the staff have an I don't care attitude. The worst part is that they have resold the car to someone else telling them it is hpi clear when there is outstanding finance on it, at present we are still pursuing the £800 deficit with no joy, luckily my husband works in finance so is pressing them to sort it out before it has a negative affect on our credit score. OUR ADVICE IS STEER WELL CLEAR
