General Comments

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Paraktio Beach Apartments this past June (2005). My wife and I have travelled to Rhodes, Greece in the past and we have stayed at large hotels, but this time our preference was for a more quiet and cosy place to relax.

The Paraktio Beach Apartments are located at Kiotari beach, which is on the southeast side of Rhodes Island and a little less than an hour drive from the airport. As a side note, we have found that the beaches on the east side of Rhodes have smaller waves and therefore, the sea is much calmer and relaxing. The beach front apartments and connected caf provided breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. In about a minute we could walk from the Paraktio to the colourful pebble beach. The Paratkto also provided us with free parking for our rented car. The caf at Paraktio offered breakfast and light snacks. For other meals, we routinely walked to nearby restaurants. The apartments are owned and operated by a very friendly family who were exceptionally helpful and efficient.

Overall, the Paraktio Beach Apartments met all our expectations for a quiet and cosy place, with a very friendly and helpful staff, spectacular sea and mountain views, beach front location, and very reasonable rates.
