Good Points

Easy navigation. Many features. Very compatible. User friendly

General Comments

I have had 2 Philips, one Toshiba and a Pioneer 220H model without HD, and the Pioneer DVR-520 is far superior. The Philips recorders froze for unknown reasons(Windows installed?), the Toshiba had a very complicated menu system and my 2 Pioneers have been easy to use and very capable. Pioneer has by far the esiest menu system of all the ones I have owned or tried, and I am so pleased with this one. And of all the recorders I have owned Pioneer has the best sound and pictue quality. I highly recommend ths one!
