Bad Points

I was on with the company at 1.5%, tried another agency for a few weeks. When I went back to them they said the new contract would be on the same basis. It transpired that I had inadvertently agreed to a FIXED RATE. As I substantially reduced my property price, they effectively increased their percentage commission by 12.5%

There are many many agents that will sell your property on the usual percentage commission basis.


General Comments

Check to make sure you are not getting a FIXED RATE commission with Bairstow Eves Estate Agents. Remember, with fixed rate commissions the agent has an incentive to overvalue the property and sell at any price!
