General Comments

Overall Club Gran Playa is was a very good holiday for a family of two adults and two children aged 5 and 9. It was terrific value for money, as we were on an all inclusive package.
The hotel is situated slightly away from the beach, a five minute walk at the most, but all the rooms actually face towards the sea, so there are no bad visibility rooms, and they all overlook the hotel pool.
The town of Sa Coma is a quite nice little place with just enough British bars without going overboard. There are also plenty of shops.
The rooms were spotless, and were cleaned 5 days a week, with a sheet change done at the same time.
The food in the hotel was basic but there was plenty of it, the bar opened at 10.30am and stayed open until midnight. The staff were very friendly and always had time for a chat.
There was plenty of entertainment during the day, if you wanted to join in for both the children and adults.
I had read before the holiday that the pool side was dirty, but this must have been addressed as the staff constantly changed the bins, and picked up the litter that had arisen from the plastic cups that were used to serve the drinks in.

On the downside, the hotel really could do with some more kids entertainment in the evenings, as a half hour mini disco that finishes at 9pm is a bit poor. Our children were quite happy to sit and watch the rest of the entertainment with us for the rest of the evening, but some others might not accept this.
All in all this holiday did exactly what it said on the tin. It was a three star all inclusive hotel, and did it very well.
