Good Points
The ipod is a wonderful concept. You can take a ton of music around with you, and only be carrying a few ounces, as opposed to large CD cases.

Bad Points
I have issues with my ipod pausing constantly without touching or bouncing the unit, even with the hold button engaged. In addition I only get 2 - 3 hours of battery life on the unit, as opposed to the advertised 12 hours. It turns out the unit needs to be replaced entirely, as it can't be fixed with updates, software fixes or a restore.

How you can have apple care protection, and then after purchasing a 400 Dollar unit, which you expect to work, they then send you a refurbished one????
