General Comments

The cf-30 was my first gun so I did not know what to expect. Then I purchased a FX2000 and it made me relise how bad the cf-30 was. But you have to remember that you get what you paid for. The trigger is very heavy and it kicks. And when it kicks it sounds and feels very tinny. The front optic sight fell off and was lost, that did not worry me to much as I had a scope on it anyway. I found the accuracy to be all over the place, but that could be put down to the type of pellet used. I did use 3 differant types of pellets though. I would recommend that you spent a little more and get a better gun. As this gun is only good for shooting cans in the back yard.

I think you got a one off bad gun, unless your trying to shoot kangaroo's. I own one and can't fault it, try using H & N Hollow points, very accurate and hard hitting pellets. mine is giving 11.7ft/lb of muzzle energy.

Hi there chell...." but you have to remember you get what you paid for".
I couldn't agree more - the problem with your review is that you forgot to remember. I really wish reviewers (and prospective ones) would review the product in its own context and not in competition with one that is more expensive or of a different nature.

It is only my age, and therefore long experience with air weapons, that makes iron-man's version much more believable than yours and I really wish that anyone writing reviews would put their personal prejudices aside and consider that many prospective buyers who cannot afford to pay much, may well be put off a gun that could be entirely suitable to their needs.

In the gun world, what is junk to some may be pure gold to someone else.

I think you need to practice your shooting, its not the gun or the ammo thats causing the accurasy problem. I own a CF-30 and cant fault it.
