Bad Points

Heat emitted from earpiece. Battery life. Phone Display.


General Comments

I used this phone for six months and then began having problems with the LCD. Two months later, the LCD completely died on me. I was only able to obtain the menu options by pressing down on the screen . . . a total pain in the proverbial when sending text messages. In addition to this major screen fault I found the heat emitted from the earpiece (directly into my ear) really disconcerting and the battery life sucked. I will not be buying a Nokia phone again and really would not recommend the 8210 to anyone. Nokia needs to stop flooding consumers with faulty, sub-standard, possibly harmful and expensive products.

    I had the same problem with the screen and the heat from the earpiece. Have now swapped to a T720 by motorola.

    I have had exactly the same problem although admittedly my phone is a bit older. Apart from these problems I have loved this phone and am sad to get rid of it!
