Good Points

Crosshair targeting is useful and hits where you aim, but it's not a given, you must aim carefully and quickly to hit your target before they hit you. There is a good choice of weapons and ammo to gather along the way. I found the sniper rifle useful and the desert eagle packs a good punch.

Bad Points

Max's movement is a little stiff, but more natural and realistic than Laura C. No real bad points to me, but I was personally annoyed by the dream sequence. Mind that you watch your ammo use and health carefully.

General Comments

Great third person shooter adventure, play it in the DOA setting. I have played it several times to the conclusion, but I haven't made it to the end in the NY minute mode (yet). I found the most difficult area to shoot my way out of, was the demonic Valkyr dealers lair. There are several tough shootouts. The cafe inferno maze took a few attempts to complete and those dream sequences are a pain. Getting past the corporate lobby was a challenging use of the sniper rifle. Players should check doors again if you find yourself backtracking. Look around a lot and take cover to reload. Have fun, I paid full retail when it first came out and don't regret it at all. Good graphics and hours of good fun.
