Good Points

I thought this camera sounded good for the money.

Bad Points

I am on my 5th camera which has just stopped working like the other 4 before it, unfortunately this time it stopped working on the 2nd day of a 14 night holiday. I've found it impossible to get in touch with Goodmans. Reading the reviews it seems I'm the only one having this problem with the camera. Seems to be something wrong with the battery compartment on all the ones I've had. This one won't switch on and the batteries get so hot I think it might explode.

General Comments

Would be a good camera if it worked for more than 3 months without giving up on me!

The battery compartment on the GDC 3116TFT is a fraction oversize for a typical AA battery, i also have had this problem, I found a set of rechargables that have the positive end of the battery protruding a little more than usual - this may sound odd but it's true, you check out the varying sizes in the same battery class and you'll see what i mean! so maybe that'll sort you out - oversized batteries! you never know... (mine a maxell, in case you're wondering...)
