Dated & Tatty room
The Savoy ought to be a lovely hotel the building is nice & so were the staff but it needs a lick of paint & money spending on the rooms. Ours had a mustard yellow bathroom with carpeting a real throughback to the seventies which is also the era for the furnishings pictures etc. Hotel is in a residential area opposite the police station a few minutes from town centre.
St Helier was nothing special just like many towns on the mainland. I would go to jersey again but next time to a beach resort. Jersey's beaches must be a match for anywhere in the world.
