Overall Rating
- Value for money

This is fairly self indulgent and a bit poor in my view. I have enjoyed a couple of Hornby's books, especially High Fidelity, which was pretty spot on in terms of the male psyche, and quite entertaining. Even his autiobiographical football book - Fever Pitch, which was self indulgent, (spotting a theme here) was enjoyable. It was kind of refreshing at the same time. Anyway this is really taking the biscuit. It doesn't really convey much of the joy of music that came across in High Fidelity, and some of the choices are a bit lame also. It's sort of 'let's publish anything by Nick Hornby and it will sell'. It must have taken all of an evening to write. Don't bother. A bit poor.
