Good Points

Natural live vocal, high, crisp and detailed, wide sound stage, soft and smooth, looks good cosmetically.


Bad Points

As far as Bass is concerned, it needs a matching amplifier, otherwise the bass is a little bit de-focused.


General Comments

I have listened to music for the last 25 years, and I have used a lot of different brands of speakers. I used to listen from hard rock to asian classic music. In the last 4-5 years, I love to listen to semi-classic, in which vocal is prominent.... so after a long struggle I found B&W speakers, other than 602-S3, but since than I have stuck with this brand. About 6 months back I purchased B&W 602-S3 in black Ash finish, and since then I have decided to keep these for eternity.
At these prises, the sound quality is unbelieveable, especially live and natural vocal, with breath taking details. After some time, they involve you, and you become addicted to their details. They do however need a matching amplifier to make the bass punch and focused.
