Good Points

Doesn't have removeable cylinders to lose

Actually does simulate revolver firing

Fairly accurate

Pebble graining and flat black surfaces mean no fingerprints all over the place.

Bad Points

Cylinder does not lock until gun is cocked or trigger pulled. Bumping the gun near the cylinder can offset the next round.

Sights are somewhat cheesy but effective when treated carefully.

This Gamo comes with a one year warranty instead of the lifetime on rifles

General Comments

Use this gun to teach new students how to aim and fire revolvers. Unlike others, like the S&W, these Gamo's do not use a removeable cylinder to load the pellets. Instead, the whole cylinder swings to the left for pellet loading. Utilizing both SA and DA, these guns are great for training.

Watch out for the rear adjustable sights. One good whack and they'll be out of true real soon.

I've owned several Gamos for training and all have proved reliable, much more so than some Walthers I've attempted to use.

Rear sights are very fragile. I set mine up for 8 metres, with a little filing of the rear sight (firing too high even at min. elevation) and then glued them in place !
After all Wyatt Earp had fixed sights didn't he ?
