Clean towels nearly every day. Staff in pool bar of an evening very polite and friendly.
Bad Points
Self catering 1 bed apartment which looked nothing like brochure. 2 bedrooms with kitchen - no "living room area" as expected when self catering. Beds not changed in 2 week stay. Floors in all rooms filthy.had to clean bathroom ourselves.no toilet rolls ever replaced. No complimentary room on day of departure,had to use changing area in public pool after being told by reception staff at 11.30 same day that room would be available later in day.
General Comments
Holiday booked in Jan'05 for self,partner and partners son. Buggiba Holiday Complex booked as looked like place where activities would be put on for kids, this was not the case. Never managed to get bed at pool in 2 week stay, towels on beds from daylight! Complex too big for size of pool and surrounding area. Attitude of reception staff to ourselves and many others on our day of departure very poor, we watched one making faces at colleague when dealing with a guests complaint about the state of their room on arrival. It is our opinion that this complex is not worthy of the 3 star rating it boasts. All in all Malta is a lovely island and we did not let the disappointment of the Buggiba Holiday Complex ruin our holiday. I would not return nor would I recommend this complex to anyone I know.
