Has built in DTS and Dolby Digital Decoder. Makes a great looking doorstop/ dust collector after it breaks.
Bad Points
Does not work after 1.5 yrs
General Comments
As with everybody else, I get a blotchy picture and skipping after 30 minutes or more of play. Then the cursed c13:00 message. I tried changing the fuse and leaving the cover off, but I still had the same errors. I did however just run across a website with another solution. Look at http://www.iwaynet.net/~nesda/SonyDVD.html . I just found it but have not tried it. All in all, every piece of Sony equipment I have owned has ceased to function properly in one way or another. I thought that this $300 DVD player would be different, and it was... the DVD player stopped working altogether, whereas the other items I owned just got annoing to operate. So my advice, Don't buy this player, or any electronic device with the scarlet letters SONY on it.

One thing I have noticed is that all have the problems occur in Sony DVP S560D DVD Players about the time the warranty is getting over. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone.
