Barclays give good money for value service! There's always a business manager on the end of the phone Never had a problem with ANY transaction! Usually made by phone. Transfers (CHAPS or international), inter-account etc. Friendly service from counter staff.
Not the cheapest.
I have banked with Barclays for over 20 years for both my personal and business accounts. I have found them to be professional and reliable. Recently they changed the way that we contacted our business managers, by introducing a contact centre. Something I was convinced would make me move my accounts over to another bank. This has, to my surprise, not been the case! I have received knowledgable and friendly advice on a whole range of various queries from Barclays staff based in THIS COUNTRY! And someone is available EVERY TIME I pick up the phone! No more 2 week waits for a call from my manager!
Impressed isn't the half of it. I have been able to almost double my turnover, thanks to the help and advice received from these contact centre staff. Well done Barclays!
