Rock steady handling, loads of grunt without high revs, bullet proof engine, nice retro looks.
Blustery at high speed, needs a lot of tlc to retain looks, laquer on alloy parts very poor(looks beter when polished off),still worth it though.
The Yamaha XJR1300 is an excellent bike for riders that like traditional styling although has a subtle "modern look". Lovely engine that I think looks right for the style (looks better than the Bandit engine). A huge bike especially for me (short) but, overall after trying a lot of others ,for my particular taste and riding style I have not found better.
