The family bingo in Carnaby's only because we won. and our last day because we knew we were leaving ! ! !
Dirty caravan, broken toilet seat in caravan (razor sharp)freezer in caravan over frosted and couldn't use it,chicken stuck draining board that stank out the whole caravan, shower leaked and didnt work properly & couldnt shower between 8.30am/12pm due to low water pressure that they dont mention in the Haven or British holiday brochure, ran out of gas with in 12 hours of arrival, all the crockery was dirty and was in need of a good hot wash, the music was from within the show bar was so loud we heard it word for word for our caravan and it went on to the early hours.
Our one week family holiday to Haggerston Castle 23/07/2005 - 30/07/2005 ended up to be more like an endurance test we had booked and paid for a themed/silver caravan so we could stay in a reasonable standard of accommodation, but our holiday was more like an endurance test our caravan was dirty it had chicken stuck in the draining board that stank & was unhygienic,all the crockery (glasses, plates, cutlery) were dirty & in need of a good hot wash before we could use them, we were unable to use the freezer as it was so over frosted & all the excess ice melted into the fridge all over our fresh food, the toilet seat was broken & razor sharp, the shower leaked and didnt work properly & we were unable to use it between 8.30am/12pm due to low water pressure that haven or british holidays dont mention in there brochure, ran out of gas with in 12 hours of arriving, the noise from the show bar was so loud that our caravan was vibrating & we could hear every word the DJ said & every word of each record this went on till the early hours, the staff were ignorant & incompetent, the food from the chip shop and hot dog stalls were cold & disgusting. over all our family holiday was poor value for money & we will never be returning to Haggerston castle, if anyone does visit or plan to visit Haggerston castle take plenty of cleaning products & a handy man to fix the faults with in the caravan (if you hire direct from British holidays) to be on the safe side you should private hire as these caravans are well looked after by there owners ! Also take plenty of money ! ! !
