General Comments

We played Ballybunnion GC Old course a few years ago and I must say that it is a golf course that I will never forget. During our spring golf break we played 4 links courses in Ireland: Lahinch, Ballybunion, Waterville, The European. They all proved to be great courses but Ballybunnion topped others. Wind plays a big role here, and we were lucky to enjoy sunshine and almost windless day. There are no tricky holes, all are true tests of ones golfskills. Only the two finishing holes didn't strike as fabulous as the 16 before them. But that probably was due to lack of stamina since we carried our own bags. I strongly recommend a caddie. Next time we are there, I will surely play the Old course and the Cashen course as well. Great golf!
