Good Points

Easy to use. Expandable.


Bad Points

The controls are a bit fiddly in fast action.


General Comments

As a starting camera for people interested in the film making art, the DV700 is a good starting place, with the ability to add wide angle and telephoto lens on the 52mm screw thread and filters, some really good footage may be obtained, and with the addition of an aftermarket mic, I've shot some footage nearly as good as the pro cameras I use, and it sits under the dashboard of my car, can't be bad!
