Unquestionably THE top shop! I got a top there for a £1 today! EVERYTHING!
Not the cheapest of prices.
Everyone's heard of it. Celebrities love it. Who can possibly loath it? So whats the big deal with Top Shop? Read on to find out!
Every girl's dream is to find the perfect shop. The shop that sells everything they want, in their size for affordable prices. The shop that will have everything up to date, is chic, and will have amazing sales. The shop that means that they know they WILL find everything under one roof. That shop is TopShop.
You only have to go there to realise that. Walking in through the door is like walking through the gates of heaven. I only wish that heaven would have that many clothes. No, actually I take that back, I wish they would have MORE clothes. Anyway, drifting off track...
The shoes are always so up to date. They are always sophisticated yet casual. How come you may ask? Don't ask me, ask Topshop!
WHEN DID YOU START SHOPPING IN TOPSHOP?
When I realised that shops like Etam and Newlook had clothes that didn't suit me! When I was younger, I thought every size 8 was flattering and that all shops do the same clothes. I have these minging (horrible) tops from new look and etam, I only bought them as they were size 8 (I was a 6 and all my mates were 12+). Suddenly I realised I needed stretchier clothes to look flattering on my petite body shape. Then I discovered TopShop. I saw a gorgeous jacket in my magazine from TopShop, and knew that I needed it. On my way to town, this woman was wearing lush (beautiful) jeans, and I asked where they were from. She replied Top Shop. When that happened for the third time I knew it was my shop. I rushed over, bought loads, and ever since it's been my favourite!
WHY ?
Haven't I just said why? The clothes are flattering for skinnier girls like me, who don't want baggy tops, and want tops that will make them look more curvacious but slim too. Every time I'm in there I see something I like, but I have to stop myself from buying it, as I have too many clothes (if thats possible). For lent I have given up shopping in TopShop, hoping to save some money. It's hard, but I will have a few more pounds in my bag! I will have to treat myself after Easter to a piece of clothing from there!
HAVE YOU SHOPPED THERE SINCE?
All the time! A shopping trip isn't complete without a stop at TopShop. My wardrobe would be dull, baggy, unflattering, and would look like a rail at a charity shop without all my TopShop clothes. Acually, it would probably be quite empty too.
FREQUENCY OF VISITS
As I have a Saturday job, I don't go shopping that much, well, not as much as I used too, so, if I'm in town and near TopShop I'll definately go in! Sometimes, if I'm the other side of town, I can't be bothered to go over especially for TopShop. I dont love it that much!

YOUR OPINION ON:
THEIR JEANS:
I have a few pairs of jeans from TopShop, all good quality and colour. I have tried on many pairs in the shop. None of them are unflattering or ugly. It all depends on your body shape and personal taste.
Many of the jeans are MOTO. I would be suprised if a woman hadn't heard of the range. Many celebrities wear TopShop MOTO jeans. They sell thousands every week.

JUMPERS:
I've bought one or two jumpers from TopShop. Good material, a bit expensive to compare with H&M who always do similar jumpers (but cheaper looking)!
SKIRTS:
Bought and seen many skirts in TopShop, although the tendancy seems to be that they cost a lot, they do last, and look gorgeous!
UNDERWEAR:
Sexy, cute, practical, you can rely on TopShop's underwear! Apparently
"...one pair of kinckers is bought every 30 seconds in TopShop..." how cool is that?!
NIGHTWEAR:
Can't say I've bought nightwear at Topshop, but I have seen them and they are, aqlong with La Senza, really cute and pretty.
T-SHIRTS:
Whatever colour, size, shape and lenth you want, TopShop has it for you, at a good, affordable price.
JACKETS:
I have bought loads of jackets in TopShop, and wear them all the time. The sizes are good, the shapes are flattering, and the colours are always perfect.
SHOES:
The shoes there, range from wellies to heels, boots to casual flats... basically anything you want, for any outfit, any ocassion, TopShop has the perfect shoes for you.
BAGS:
The bag range is quite expensive, with bags, I'm more of a bargain gal as I have this thing for bags, and NEED one to match every outfit. Some are really nice, some are just not me. But hey, thats why they have a huge range of customers.
ACCESSORIES:
Freedom is the accessory range at Top Shop. Although a bit more expensive than H&M, they are prettier and better quality. Any buyer will definately get a wear from the accessories here - undoubtledly they are worth every penny.
Prices for earings average around £4.
Necklaces are around £8 each.
Bags vary around the £10-£20 price range.
LAYOUT:
The layout of the shop is always good, whichever TopShop you visit. I barely ever see clothes on the floor, or lack of tidyness in the shops. Obviously the staff are told to make sure the place is as organised as it can be, and it is!
SIZES:
Sizes range from 6-16. The also have, Maternity, Petite, and tall Sizes.
REFUND POILCY:
You must get a refund within 14 days once you have bought something there. You can't return cosmetics, pierced jewellery or briefs, unless in the interest's of hygiene, unless they are faulty.
VALUE FOR MONEY:
I think Top Shop clothes are good value for money, as they last a long time, and don't go out of fashion. Although a few items are expensive and cheaper versions are avalable, I think overall I would give it 8/10 for value for money.
ADVERTS:
I can't say I have seen any adverts for TopShop... anywhere!
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The group Arcadia, are in charge of Topshop, Wallis, DP, Miss Selfridge, Evans, Burton, TopMan and Outfit. The group started in 1960, and have been a success ever since.
There are three sections to the clothes in TopShop:
Vintage, Boutique and TopShop. The first two can only be found online.
DEBENHAMS:
TopShop has a department in Debenhams. In their part, they only have a selection of their clothes, but it is good, as it means if you can't find something in one topshop, you'll find it in another.
QUEUES:
The queues can be long, especially if there is a sale, but be patient, the clothes are worth it!!!!
SALES:
Can be quite good, but have also been really bad. Don't expect to see anything you like in the sales, but do snoop around, you might be suprised!!
OVERALL:
I LOVE Top Shop. I hope after reading this review, you might give it a chance.
