General Comments

Went to Drayton Manor on a rainy day in the summer holidays, when the park opened at 9, the zoo at 10 and the rides at 10.30, which wasn't the best way to start the day. Food was expensive for the low quality it was. The kids refused the burger - that bad and the chips weren't great either The decor of the park needs some touching up, bits of the decor on the rides had fallen into disrepair -not the actual ride - they were safe The kid's world was pretty good for my kids 5 & 3 with the usual assortment of cars / up and downs etc etc. The park itself is fairly small, so you fall out of one ride and straight onto the next, with little in the way of scenery to look at. This is certainly no Disney world for decor The adult rides were not in a great abundance and the stand up rollercoaster wasn't that great, I've been on better rides; and you queue up in a rather squalid shed for it as well. Their new G-force ride had been opened for 2 days, yet was not due to open on the day we went until 3pm, which I feel is a bit of a take on, a new ride should be open from the minute the park opens, not a couple of hours before closing time. As a new ride, it naturally had a big queue, so I didn't ride it. So can't comment, but didn't look that great. As this was also the start of the summer holidays, the number of rides that were broken/ not operational was too high. I counted at least 4 rides that day not working, although one was g-force and opened later Overall if you were an adult looking for a day out, I wouldn't recommend it yet, maybe in a few years. For a family day out, cheap tickets on internet, take your own food and all should be okay
