The idea of having a sadistic female lead character is a good one-makes it all the more shocking.

A violent and depraved movie that will definately make most feel uncomfortable.

The Devils Rejects made me feel uncomfortable to the point that I considered walking out. The only thing that kept me there was the chance that Sheriff John Wydell would finally get his revenge. Unfortunately without giving too much away I was disapointed to find that Zombie prefers to glorify violence. In a recent quote Rob Zombie states that he didn't want to 'cheer the bad guys' and he wanted to show how 'ugly and nasty violence can be'. I however did not see this side to Rob Zombie when watching the film, all I saw was depravity for the sake of it- prostitution, violence, drug-taking, you name it he has included it just for the hell of it so it seems (or maybe to make sure it gets an 18 rating and upholds the Rob Zombie reputation! Even the so called comic moments are just vulgar and offensive. Definately a film to avoid unless you can stomach Zombie's bizarre and twisted idea of entertainmt.
