Irreverant british school boy humour most people have heard about it but give it a go some absolute gems inside every issue.
That god awful Billy the Fish strip, well drawn but bizarre subject.
Well Viz, its like Marmite, you either love it or hate it. I for one collected these comics from about 10 years after the launch. It used to be very funny and very different after all this was a time without FHM, Loaded, Buzz and the like. Where else was a young man to look for some saucey comic strip humour with added swear words - your gran just would not approve.
Always a magazine to court controvesy (if only for the free publicity) you just had to buy it to see who Chris and chums were picking on next - the nerds strike back, lampooning the glitterati of the UK and sending them up something rotton.
Although you may think Viz has lost its edge you are mistaken, thanks to Viz and other sources you have just become more used to the establishment getting a kick in the proverbials. - Just what it needed in the 1980's
So get a copy today and discover the little jems of humour that will be common place in another 10 years time
